I grew up looking out at this stretch of water. I watched it go from open sea, to the islands being filled, to the very first launch, and I've followed every phase since. Today I advise investors at RealEstate.ae on exactly where to buy on Dubai Islands, plot by plot, with the numbers to back it up.

Lia
Lia is a seven-storey residential building by Avenew Development on the east end of Island A, at Dubai Islands, set between the open Gulf and a marina. Its curved, cantilevered floors have wide planted terraces. It offers one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and three penthouses with private rooftop infinity pools. A triple-height lobby with a spiral staircase, a podium pool and a gym serve residents, and there is a retail space on site.
